Hydrospeed

It is a few years since the whitewater river boarding found its way to Austria. Originally only used for Body Boarding at the seaside, the Hydrospeed for rivers is bigger. You half lie on the board and swim down the torrent more under than over the water. Take your time to get used to the feel of the board and the currents and then you will be ready for the bigger challenges.
You will soon feel like a fish and want to savour every wave!

    Good health and very good swimming skills, from approx. 14 years of age

    May - October: Tue - Sat; 9:30 am and 1:30 pm, Sun: 9:30 am, Mon: no courses available

    OTHER: For the hydrospeed you need plenty of water under the board. Best time is in May and June or after rainfalls. If the water level is too low, we can offer you a two-person canoe or a canyoning tour instead.

    For the hydrospeed you need good water under the board. The best time is from mid-May/June and after rainfall. If the water level is too low or too high, we can offer you a change to the twin canoe or a canyoning tour.
