Climbing in alpine surroundings
The approach is from the car park of the Steinplatte ski area with a short hike to the entrance, ideal as a warmup. The Schuastagangl has a difficulty level between A and D. Not too difficult and with variants such as the “Knieschloderer”. The footholds are well placed and if you wish, you can use the steel rope just to secure. Exactly how a via ferrata should be! In the most difficult parts, the mountain guide can additionally secure the climbers.
Be impressed and inspired by the massive backdrop of the steep rock faces of the Steinplatte and the beautiful Pillerseetal valley to the south.
